March 14, 2017

Romans 8:38-39

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of Hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I read a plan from Youversion tonight about blessings from the Lord, and listened to a prayer.

The blessing it talked about today was God's love, and I felt like writing about it, because it's so awesome.

God's love for us is never ending.  Think about that. It literally goes on forever and ever, like God. No matter what on earth we do, He still has His arm reached out to us, waiting to pull us back.  I heard a song on the radio (KLOVE), it comes on every once in a while, and one of the lines from the song goes something along the lines of: 

"When you see too far gone, I see one step away from home."

That to me, is a powerful line in a powerful song, because it doesn't matter how far away you think you are from God, He is always one step away, and He's right there. He loves you and wants you to have the best. 

I've been working on complaints... Today was a bit hard because I got rubber bands on my braces yesterday, so my mouth has been hurting like crazy, and there were a couple other things that happened that I may have complained about, but I'm trying to stay alert.  Trying not to complain about things, and trying to stay joyful. It's hard sometimes.. Or more than sometimes.. I get it. Just keep pushing through.

OH, totally random and crazy question, but I was thinking today on the way home from school, 

Is cheesecake technically CAKE, or is it PIE??
