Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: if either of them falls down, one can help the other up, but pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."

Ah.  This feels good.
You never know how much you really miss something until you sit down with it again.

As I'm typing and listening to music, I can't help but smile.
It's been too long.

I am one who is very strongly opinionated, which can be good, but also bad.
One of the things that I am very passionate about and that happens to be good, is my opinion and belief that two are so much stronger than one.

When you think of a pencil, or something wooden, and you break one of them, the one standing alone is extremely easy to snap.  However, when you add another, or another, or two more, or three more, you find it harder and harder to snap.  That is so unbelievably cool to me.

God made all of us to want and NEED companionship.  To want and NEED relationships with people.

He didn't make us to stand alone. To be alone.

Whether it's a boyfriend or girlfriend, a best friend or a family member, we all desire and have a need to be loved by someone.  To have someone who will always stand with you, by your side, and for you. That is amazing.  I pray that all of you have at least one person who is that for you.

And the most amazing part is that God IS that person.
When you don't have anyone with you, He is there.  He supports you and makes you strong.

Today, I dare you to really analyze who makes you stronger than you would be alone.
Who is it in your life who encourages you to be strong in your faith?
Who is it in your life who points you to a stronger relationship with Jehovah?
Who is it in your life who really makes it hard to snap you in half?

And when all of the world is against you, I dare you to look to God to make you strong.
Come on!

I dare you.
